If you want prewar, then you want a Hardwick Banjo!
Hardwick Banjos are located in the heart and soul of the bluegrass world, here in the Eastern part Kentucky. Lawrence County has produced many well known names in bluegrass. Ricky Scaggs, Larry Cordle and many more. Joe Hardwick has lived in the middle of this bluegrass region his whole life. He has also been around to hear good and bad banjos. He has seen what works in a banjo and knows what doesn't work in a banjo. He has been around all the great pickers and studied the sound (Not Tone) of many great banjos. Such as Crowe's RB 75. This is why Hardwick banjos can produce that old prewar sound that everyone wants to hear.
